Pet San comes in a effervcent tablet form, it automatically dissolves when put in water. Once the tablet dissolves completely the disinfectant solution is ready to use. For customized disinfection uses, different concentration of solution is required, for this please refer the dilution chart given on box.

The active ingredient of Pet San is Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC). When Pet San tablet is dissolved in water, its active ingredient NADCC releases Hypochlorous Acid(HOCL). HOCL is a potent antimicrobial agent, which kills bacteria, viruses, fungi and other microbes. HOCl denatures microbial proteins, disrupting essential cellular functions, Alters cell membrane permeability, leading to cell lysis, Interferes with microbial enzyme systems, hindering metabolism, Affects nucleic acid synthesis, preventing replication.
